I hope the weather is not as rainy as it has been for anyone getting married over the rest of the summer. I know we need the water, but maybe it could just rain during the night! Congratulations to Sara and James who are getting married next August and have just ordered their Save the Date cards, They have ordered one of our new designs. They have chosen a white card which is also a new product we have added to our card colours.I think the white card with gold ink and gold envelopes will look very smart, and although the idea is contemporary the colours are traditional for a wedding.
We have now launched our new Save The Date Cards website. It is well worth a look at. Much more modern and contemporary than our old one.
On the examples page customers can look at each card in different colours and with different coloured inks on their prefered card. This should make it a lot easier for customers in deciding which card they would like to see there own personal proof in.
The envelope colours are also easier to see now.
We have quite a lot of new example cards to choose from giving customers a much wider choice.
Below are 2 of our new Save The Date cards.

Laura and James have just ordered there Save The Date Cards for November this year. They have chosen the snowflake design which is appropriate for November. They have chosen a Black Card with Silver ink and Silver Envelopes to complement their cards. Now is just in time to send Save The Date Cards out for a November wedding. You may wish to send cards out sooner if you need to know numbers of guests attending for the Venue or are getting married abroad and have to book travel arrangements. Congratulations and Best wishes to Laura and James for their wedding in November.
We are working on a new website at the moment. Being as we now have a new Prime Minister, I think it is time for us to update our website. Hopefully the country will start to recover and things will be better for customers ordering their Save The Date Cards now. There will be tough times ahead, but hopefully by the time our Save The Date Card customers are getting married, there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Must get on with more work now and think of some ideas for the new website.
Congratulations to Lisa and Jay who are getting married in December 2011. They have just ordered there Save The Date Cards. They have chosen the snowflake theme which seems very appropriate for December.
This card would look good with silver or black envelopes. But the envelope chosen can tie in with any wedding colour theme. Some customers getting married in a Castle as Lisa & Jay are prefer Example 9 on our website. This also looks good on a black card with silver or holoprint foil.

Modern Technology is a wonderful thing when it works properly. I have been having problems with my emails on and off for a while now. First of all the phone line starts to crackle. Most of the time I seem to receive emails but can’t send replies. This is very annoying and I have to check that Save The Date Card customers have received the emails I have sent. I have sometimes wondered what happens to emails that never arrive to the address they are sent to, are they floating about in outer space somewhere?
Tonight is the beginning of the May Day Bank Holiday. That means 3 days off work for most people. Time to contemplate on any Save The Date Cards you may need for the coming months. We can produce them for: Weddings, Birthday Parties, Christenings, Aniversary’s, Bar Mitzvas, Bat Mitzvah, New years eve parties and any more occasions. May Day is traditionally a day to dance around the maypole but the weather needs to improve dramatically to make this a pleasant occasion. Lets hope the forecasters have got it wrong again and it turns out nice and sunny!
Only a week until the general election in Great Britain. Gillian Duffy only went out to buy a loaf of bread yesterday and ended up an international celebrity, due to Gordon Browns untimely remarks. Maybe she would like some Save The Date Cards for her Grand children’s birthdays. They make good birthday invitations to. Perhaps David Cameron would like some for his future babies Christening. We have had a lot of orders this week and many to print, pack and be posted to customers next week, so had better get more work done, so we can please all our customers.
For some years now there have been only four card colours sold on a regular basis by the Save The Date Cards team. As we move through Springtime consider the freshness of using a White card as a basis for your design. White is a traditional and familiar colour for Wedding stationery often using gold or silver for the text. A white card can add simplicity to your message, helping to embolden the message, putting it across with greater impact. As with all choices, there are horses for courses. A party invitation may look better on a gold card with holoprint writing, but for a change just consider the appearance of the same design printed on white.
Save the date cards are such a personal way of announcing your message that designs and ideas are as different as night and day. Considering the small size of a card it is surprising how many variations on a theme can be achieved. There are people who like to use as many different symbols as can be fitted on and around a long and complex message, making a complex image which can take a while to fully register and understand. There are others who like one simple classic symbol, with minimum words, in some instances as little as names and a date. Card designs can be as varied as the people they are intended for.
