Another weekend and another chance for plans to be made for the years ahead. Save the date cards can be ordered for any event you are planning and any theme included. If we don’t have an example which meets your needs, just ask and we’ll do our best to produce something especially for you. We recently had a request for a Christening card, which was the first time one had been asked for. We have produced short print runs of special cards for shows and expo’s, where people wanted something unusual and memorable to hand out in place of their usual paper based business cards. Our plastic Save the date cards are impressive and represent good value for money.
Pancake day passed by yesterday with it’s usual bitter-sweet mix of batter lemon and sugar.
It’s a tradition we like to keep, possibly a hand me down from living off the land.
Pancakes can be a little treat as a fore-runner to the approaching springtime.
In much the same way, Save the date cards can be used as a taster of events in the future, a little soupcon of a couple’s Springtime together.
Join us at www.savethedatecards.co.uk and we’ll conjure up a Card design just for you.

What do you want to do? Let people know in advance. That’s the simple aim of Save The Date Cards. Ideally, though, a lasting reminder until a formal invitation is sent would be a better option.

It’s been in the papers, on the TV news and reported on Google news, so it must be right. Scientists tell us that just the thought of a nice cuppa tea can make us feel more cheerful.
That may well be, but an actual cuppa tea, in my honest opinion, makes me feel much more cheerful than just thinking about it.
OK, so there’s the ritual of filling the kettle, boiling the water, brewing the tea, pouring the tea, then finally drinking the tea.
A similar situation may well exist with Save The Date Cards, although it’s unlikely any scientist has studied the process.
There’s a good chance that thinking about your design makes you feel cheerful, placing your order for the cards makes you feel more cheerful, and receiving them through the post really gives your happiness levels a boost.
The best part though, is sending out your Save The Date Cards to friends and family and hearing all their comments and best wishes.
A black save the date card
We have been printing save the date cards for a long time now and we have always referred to them as save the date cards.
However, we have recently discovered that many people actually call them save the date invitations. Because of this we are now also calling them save the date invitations as well as save the date cards and as a direct result of this we are getting far more enquiries through Google searches from new customers.
Over the next few weeks we are going to redesign our website to make it both easier on the eye/easier to navigate and to also make it easier for people searching for save the date invitations to find us.
It can be quite a job looking for save the date card ideas. Which shape, size, style or material they are made from can all be seen to reflect your own ideas. Should you choose a traditional theme or a contemporary one? We know there is a place for every sort of card and idea possible, but would never try to cater for all tastes. We like to think our choice of designs allows a good choice from the traditional wedding ring theme to the more artistic and subtle examples which we show on our website. Butterflies have been a quietly popular theme this year and our snowflake design continues to be popular for winter weddings. Interlinked hearts and hearts within hearts will always be popular choices, as will wine glasses, champagne glasses and bottles. Whichever designs you choose to put on your cards, they will help to reflect your message for friends and relatives to see.
We have been very busy over the last week or so with an more save the date invitation orders than usual.
We are still trying to establish when the busiest time of the year is for save the date cards, we do get busy times and quiet times but it is really hard to figure out which time will be the busiest.
Below is a proof showing an autumn themed save the date invitation.
I think this save the date card example will prove to be quite popular.
Some cards can be bought cheaply and filled in by hand, as a normal invitation would be, but for those special events in your life extra special measures are worthwhile.
Wedding Save The Date Cards are now as much a part of the British culture as the formal invitations are nearer the date, but they allow a little forward planning by friends and family, so avoiding the embarrassed Great Aunt having to explain that she won’t be at your wedding due to a holiday booked in the Andes, which was arranged last year.
Generally Save The Date Cards for Weddings are sent out around 12 months in advance of the intended date, which is usually considered ample time for forward planning.
With our high quality foil printed Save The Date Cards, you will invest in cards which will keep on looking good far longer than a paper card product is likely to.
