Save The Date Magnets
Dec 30th, 2011 by admin

Magcard_frontWe produce unique Save The Date Magnets by bonding a die cut flexible vinyl magnet to the back of our usual high quality plastic cards. This is the only way we have found to manufacture clear frosted fridge magnets of a quality which looks and feels right. By shaping the magnet as a heart or star shape it can add to the appearance of your cards. We chose to use vinyl magnets partly because they can be shaped and partly for safety reasons. We have produced cards using 10 mm rare earth magnets when customers have requested a card which will hold papers in place on a fridge, but have to send them with a warning to avoid placing the magnets close to watches or hard drives. We prefer the vinyl type as they are safer in use and have been designed to do their job, which is simply to hold the card itself to a vertical mild steel surface.

For a novel way to send out your Save The Date Cards, have them printed in reverse, then your guests will need to look at them in a mirror!

OK, so it’s a little bizarre, but sometimes off the wall ideas add a bit of fun and intrigue, which could be a reflection of yourselves perhaps.

Save the date cards can be used for weddings, parties, calling cards, house move details, childrens school contact details, medication card records, in fact more things than are immediately obvious.

Is your business being effectively promoted at those special functions. A small number of holoprint frosted cards to hand out at a trade show can be just what you need to be remembered. The big firms can produce cards in hundreds and thousands, but if you just want a handful of simple and stunning contact cards we can produce them for you.

The importance of proofs
Nov 18th, 2011 by admin

You send your details, we produce a proof. We email you a digital proof to indicate how your cards could look.

Over the moon, you pay for your order, then wonder why we slow the process down by asking you to approve your proof before we order a printing block. We need to do this, as only you know the exact spellings of names and the date you want to see printed. We sometimes wonder if 2013 is supposed to be 2012, but only you can confirm.

The other gremlin is the Spellcheck, which doesn’t always know write from wrong, or spot that “Wurst case scenario” may not be referring to an out of date german sausage.

It’s always advisable to double check details, then your Save The Date Cards will do their intended job.

Save The date Card themes
Nov 7th, 2011 by admin

There are so many themes for Save The Date Cards that it’s difficult to know where to start. The most enduring image used has to be entwined hearts, a timeless symbol recognisable the world over.

Butterflies, doves, bells and bows all feature in different ways on these cards. Colours signify diferent things to different people. The white traditional card is preferred by some and the satin black card by others, but the most popular at present is the clear frosted card. The frosted card looks modern and up with the best, yet is not exorbitantly expensive. Printed in a silver or holoprint text the frosted plastic card can look amazing.

Sometimes you need a special theme to start from early on. Ask us and we’ll try to help you live your dream.

Gardens are bright with coloured flowers of all hues.

What better way to show a photo of some sample cards. The frosted cards can be seen as they should be with a good background, and the satin black card show’s it’s simple richness against the bright orange of the Calendulas.

Sometimes it’s good to view things in a different light.

Our cards can be changed to provide just the impression you are looking for.

Different words, add a website or email address, different font or grahics.

Contact sales@savethedatecards.co.uk and see what we can do for you.

Civil Partnership Save The Date Cards
Jun 1st, 2011 by admin

Civ1Civ2Save The Date Cards for Civil Partnerships can be produced by us to suit your theme and to reflect your event.

The example on our website was designed for a Black and White Ball.

As you will see, the same design looks quite different when black is printed onto a white card, compared to white printed onto a black card.

Which you prefer is a matter for choice, but the pictures demonstrate how different colours alter the impact of the card to match your own views.

Have a look at the examples on our websire www.savethedatecards.co.uk or simple email sales@savethedatecards.co.uk and we’ll see if we can produce a unique design to complement your event.

We can also produce effective Change of address cards, which your friends and family are more likely to keep.
