Save The Date Cards for Christmas
Dec 4th, 2011 by admin

Now there’s an idea, give your partner Save The Date Cards for Christmas. Its probably be worth agreeing what the cards will say first if you’re going to have the cards printed, but there is another option. Order and pay for your cards now, but don’t have them printed yet. On Christmas day hand your partner a copy of the email confirming your order has been made, then you can both sit down after the turkey and work out the design and wording you’d both like printing. It has to be better than playing board games or watching the repeats of old films on TV! In January we will then print and dispatch your cards ready for you to send out to your friends and relatives.

Bring a little brightness to winter

Winter save the date cards
Nov 29th, 2011 by admin

Winter save the date card in purpleSometimes we are asked for a non standard colour of text on our save the date cards. Usually we stick to just a few colours of foil, gold metallic, silver metallic, black, white and holoprint, but if someone has different themed colours we can sometimes accomodate their wishes. It can be a little awkward finding the colour of foil which looks right on different coloured cards, but we will always try our best. With Christmas fast approaching there are not that many days left to order cards, as they are not a simple digital print job. Each card has to be carefully hand printed, so if you need cards to go out this Xmas, order quickly and we’ll see if we can beat Santa.

Save on Save The Date Cards

Should you really try to save money on Save The Date Cards. Now of course I am biased, but I do urge you to think about this. If you browse through our website www.savethedatecards.co.uk and see a design which catches your eye and reflects how you feel about your future wedding, just go for it. First impressions are often right. I’ve known people ask for a proof then told me they’ve gone for a cheaper card instead. A few people who have done this have then returned to us for an order as the cheaper cards they obtained were not of a quality they expected. The cheaper cards were thrown in the bin. This is your first announcement of your special day and it calls for special cards. We have trimmed our prices as low as we can, allowing for the high quality materials used and time and care we take producing your cards.

New York Save The Date Card

New York Skyline

We have designed a Save The Date Card template showing the New York skyline in silhouette. Whilst we think it looks good as a black printed frosted card, the same design also looks very effective printed in Holoprint on a satin black plastic card. That’s the beauty of hot foil printing, it’s equally effective printing on black as on any other colour background. This design of card may be used by couples having their wedding in New York or equally well for a wedding with a New York theme. We can alter the wording o suit your own situation. Just ask and we’ll try to produce the card you need.

Ganesha

We have been asked on a number of occasions to produce Save The Date Cards with a Ganesha image on, but have had problems finding a suitable one for hot foil printing. At last we have one that looks just right. This version of Ganesha will print well and look good in gold on a gold card. Options would be to use black, silver or holoprint ink colours, possibly even a black, white or frosted card as an effective background. Whatever your choice of colour combinations we can produce a photo realistic proof to give you an idea of hbow the printed cards will look.

Save The Date Cards Facebook page
Jul 6th, 2011 by admin

We are finally moving into the twenty first century by setting up a Facebook page.

Have a look at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Save-The-Date-Cards/225287770836010

Ok, so we’re a bit later than most people, but we don’t tend to rush into these things. A little planning never goes amiss, especially with your card designs. The standard templates on our website took some thinking about … in fact, so much thinking we never completed the last three. Sometimes it’s good to be a little enigmatic … it never did the Mona Lisa and harm!

If you see an example on our website where you’d like to swap and change images or text, just ask by emailing sales@savethedatecards.co.uk

Save the date card envelopes

We can also supply reasonably priced envelopes to go with your Save The Date Cards. Have a look on our website Prices page for details of colours and cost.

We will often suggest a colour of envelope to complement the card or text colour, which then adds to the overall quality presentation of your message. It’s always good to open a surprise envelope, especially when it’s an unexpected and nice surprise.

I’m especially impressed by the matt black envelopes, which have a simple quality appearance all of their own. For modern thinking couples, matt black makes quite a statement.

The Champagne coloured envelope shown here is a popular choice when full details for the forthcoming event have not been finalised.

The weather has been very spring like the last few days, the daffodils are flowering and there will be a Royal Wedding soon. It is now time to order your cards for weddings this summer, autumn, winter or next spring. Please ask for a free Photo realistic proof of your card to be emailed to you. We can also post  you a free sample pack of our cards, so you can see past examples. We send best wishes to Catherine and John who have just received their Save The Date Cards. They chose to have magnet cards and holoprint foil. These look very effective when printed.
