The Spring equinox occurred last week and this coming weekend we change the clocks. Back to lighter evenings again. Wonderful. The lighter nights make you want to get out and about, sort out those little jobs in the garden you’ve been putting off, that tidying up and rubbish shifting. Next thing you know it will be barbecue season and time to plan the summer parties. Summer parties can be prolonged affairs, starting slowly in the afternoon, building up to the feast off the barbie, then drifting into a sultry summer evening, if the weather holds out that is. Even if the rain starts it can still be fun with a couple of decent gazebos to house your guests.
